Based in the heart of England amid the Shropshire countryside, Tight Digital Music is a small project studio with big connections. We also provide engineering and technical services for PA companies, including our own hire service, covering an area from the Midlands across the UK and into Europe. We can provide anything from a microphone, a sound engineer or a complete PA and lighting rig.
As well as our own studio and live setups we also have access to a wide range of studios and musicians, technicians, engineers and producers to cover all aspects of sound and music production, both in studio and live environments on a small or large scale.
Recent studio projects include an eclectic range of albums, post production and mastering for a variety of bands and solo artists, music software reviews and tutorials for hi-tech music magazines and restoration of old tapes to CD.
Proprietor of Tight Digital is Trev Wilkins who has been involved in the music scene for over 20 years in a variety of guises ranging from promotion, engineering, production and also fronting his own band for several years.
He recently completed 3 years of the Sonar Masterclass series for Computer Music magazine along with many other reviews, articles and tutorials and provided the main featured track and walkthroughs for their Guitar Special.
Other journalistic endeavours include 'Trev wilkins World of Cakewalk' in Future Music magazine and he has recently completed his first book 'The Focal Easy Guide to Cakewalk Sonar' for Focal Press. Currently on the cards is a new book aimed at helping performers and trainee crew to work on live shows by providing them with the knowledge required to liaise and work with other show staff in an efficient manner. It's called 'ALL Access' and will be available in February.
His live experience includes FOH and monitor engineering, backline technician and lighting engineering in all manner of situations ranging from small pubs to massive festivals. He is used to working at the top level of the industry with other seasoned professionals. References may be provided if necessary for suitable clients.
